Lifelong Learning
The Bible, consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament, is God’s written communication to man. In it, God has revealed Himself to mankind. In it He details our failures and His solutions. In it He reveals how we can have eternal life and be assured of heaven when we leave this world. We study it to know God. We study it to have life and we study it throughout life.
Strengthening Families
As the family is the foundation of society, it is also important within the church. We are old and young, and everywhere in between. No matter what age we are we need encouraged and taught. With activities and classes for all ages, LVBC strives to minister to the entire family. Strong families make a strong society.

LVBC is ordinary people like yourself. We are not perfect, just forgiven. We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, to all who by faith put their trust in Him. John Collins
A Personal Welcome from our Pastor John Collins:
Hi, I’m John Collins, LVBC’s pastor for 18 years. It’s a joy to meet you—whether you’re joining us online or in person. My goal is plain: to teach God’s Word clearly, in its original language and context, verse by verse, book by book.
I’m a Lancaster Bible College graduate, with additional graduate studies at the seminary there and at Carolina University. Janet is my wife, and we have five grown children scattered across the country. We call the Manheim, PA area home, where hospitality and community are ongoing.
What you can expect when we meet: thoughtful biblical exposition, practical application, and a welcoming, open space for questions and growth. Our Sunday School hour begins at 9:30 am and our worship service follows at 10:30 am. We look forward to having you join us in worship and study Gods Word together.
