Our Team

Hi, my name is John Collins. I have just finished my sixteenth year of ministry here at LVBC. I am a graduate of Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA, and have taken several graduate classes at the seminary there as well as at Carolina University, in Winston-Salem, NC.

I am married. My wife, Janet, and I have five grown children scattered all across the country. We are residents of the Manheim, PA area.

I teach and preach by way of biblical exposition, paying particular attention to the original languages of both the Old and the New Testaments. I do verse-by-verse studies of each book of the Bible. 

This does require a significant amount of time to work through each book, but is the only way to truly mine the riches of God’s Word. As of March 2024, we have just finished a four-year study of the Book of Isaiah.

Beginning in April 2024 we will be working our way through the books of Daniel during the Sunday School hour(9:30am) and Revelation during the Worship Service (10:30am). We would love to have you join us to worship and study God’ Word together.
